Artek Model 65 dining chair designed by Alvar Aalto. Model 65 is the version with the lower backrest compared to Model 66 that has the same shape backrest. This chair was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935. They're made in Finland from solid birch wood, with a veneered laminated seat and backrest. Alvar Aalto created a way to bend the wood by carving slits in them, curve them and then glue them again.
